HURRICANE RELIEF: STAGE 1 – HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP NOW!

Our impacted communities urgently need food, water, cleaning supplies, and camping essentials, as many are still without power.

📦 Collect the items listed below and deliver them to one of our designated staging areas.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AFFECTED AREAS! Our staging locations will receive direct instructions on when and where supplies are needed. Coordinating our efforts ensures everyone's safety!

IMPORTANT UPDATE – ATTENTION AMERICAN LEGION FAMILY ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

As we continue coordinating relief efforts for our American Legion Family in Districts 1 and 2 impacted by Hurricane Isaias, we ask everyone to PLEASE HOLD OFF ON TRAVELING TO THE AFFECTED AREAS AT THIS TIME.

While we know our American Legion Family is eager to step up and help, we must first receive authorization from the appropriate authorities before entering the affected areas.

It is extremely important that we allow emergency personnel, electrical utility crews, tree removal services, and other essential workers the time and space they need to safely clear roads, restore power, and address immediate hazards.

The best way we can help right now is by allowing these crews to do their jobs safely and without interference.

Our Department of Florida Leadership Team remains in communication with our Western Area and District Leadership Teams as we gather information and coordinate the next steps.

📍 American Legion Post 291 – Steinhatchee, FL

Please await further information regarding specific supply needs and drop-off arrangements.

We will keep everyone updated as soon as we have verified information and further details.
