ExxonMobil has been a valued partner of the Boys & Girls Club of the Permian Basin for many years, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support and commitment to our mission. We appreciate the opportunity to share the amazing things happening at our Club and look forward to our continued partnership!

🏈💙 Coaching with Purpose 💙🏈

For her, coaching flag football is about much more than teaching plays or winning games; it's about helping young athletes grow into confident leaders and supportive teammates.

One of the things she loves most about coaching is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the players and watch their character develop throughout the season. Seeing their passion for the game grow, their teamwork strengthen, and their confidence shine is what makes every practice and game worthwhile.

This season was especially meaningful because she had the chance to coach alongside Unique, a former Boys & Girls Club member she grew up with. Together, they encouraged their team to focus on having fun, supporting one another, and lifting each other up. Proving that the best victories aren't always reflected on the scoreboard.

Some of her favorite moments happen off the field, when players excitedly tell her they've been practicing plays at home. To her, those conversations represent dedication, growth, and a genuine love for the game.

"It's moments like those that remind me why I love coaching and the impact it can have beyond the field."

Yesterday’s Family Night was about so much more than swimming. Boys and Girls Club of Midland, Texas Taylor & Halff Park Clubs United.

It was about families connecting, kids laughing with friends, and creating memories that will last long after summer ends. It was about seeing our staff come together, supporting one another to create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for every child and family.

We’re grateful to our partners at the City of Midland, Texas - City Government and Smalls Sliders for helping make this special evening possible. Moments like these remind us that the Boys & Girls Club is more than a place it’s a community where relationships grow and families belong.

What a fun-filled week at the Boys & Girls Club of the Permian Basin! 🎉

This week, we were honored to receive generous check presentations from United Way of Midland, Smalls Sliders in Odessa, and My Community Credit Union. Their support helps us continue creating opportunities and memorable experiences for the youth we serve.

While celebrating these incredible partnerships, the summer fun continued across all of our clubs with exciting activities, new adventures, and plenty of smiles from our Club kids!

Thank you to our community partners for investing in the future of our youth. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! ☀️💙

Thank you to the United Way of Midland and the United Way of Odessa for their generous combined grant award of nearly $138,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs.

United Way of Midland awarded $51,000 to support Health & Wellness, Nutrition, Youth Sports, and Club Programming at our Midland Clubs, while United Way of Odessa awarded $86,939 to support these same programs at our Odessa Clubs.

This funding is critical to our operations and helps us continue providing life-changing opportunities for local youth. We are deeply grateful for their continued partnership and investment in the children and teens of Midland and Odessa. 💙❤️💛
