Permian Basin Mission Center Compassion at work. Serving our community since 1998. The following year, a warehouse was donated and PBMC was dedicated for service.

Permian Basin Mission Center (PBMC) was established to meet an escalating community need for local resources to assist with free food, free clothing, and financial assistance with rent & utilities. Since that time, PBMC has been called to serve thousands of clients each year to meet their physical and spiritual needs. PBMC is a 501(c)3 interdenominational benevolent agency providing relief to qual

ifying individuals and families experiencing hardships. PBMC strives to provide a "Hand-Up versus a Hand-Out!"


HOW WE HELP:
We understand that everyone needs help sometimes. No one should ever go hungry. If you live in the Permian Basin, come see us! PBMC provides free food boxes, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, free clothing, and basic household necessities to qualifying clients in need. PBMC seeks to nurture and direct the clients toward an improved lifestyle by teaching home budgeting principles which includes guidance in establishing a savings account, applying for SNAP Benefits, and seeking free legal assistance with child support issues. Most importantly, PBMC provides an opportunity to hear about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. PBMC cares for the whole person by exemplifying Christian compassion and benevolence while conforming to the highest standards of integrity. Business Hours

The food pantry will be closed on Thursday, August 13, 2026, to attend a function at Odessa College for United Way of Odessa.

The food pantry will reopen for business on Monday, August 17, 2026.

We accept any size in women's and men's sizes.
We are located at 208 Adams Ave on the corner of Adams and 3rd Street.
