This Military Family Month, we’re proud to spotlight our partners at Blue Star Families and our work together as a Blue Star Outpost.

Blue Star Families is a national nonprofit dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities for military and veteran families. Through research, resources, programs, and local chapters, they work to address the unique challenges military families face, from frequent moves and deployments to finding a sense of belonging in a new community.

But the mission goes beyond support. Through initiatives like Blue Star Serves, Blue Star Families creates opportunities for people from all walks of life to give back, support military families, and strengthen the communities we call home.

As a Blue Star Outpost, we’re proud to support this mission and help ensure military families feel welcomed, valued, and connected wherever military life takes them.

This November, and throughout the year, we invite everyone to get involved. Whether you volunteer, participate in a local service project, or help welcome a military family to your community, every act of connection matters.

🎉⚓ Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy!

This year, we’re celebrating the Navy’s proud legacy of service by featuring the Patriotic Kenny Foundation as part of our birthday celebration!

In 2021, Kenny had a mobility scooter that broke down and with Amanda's help of TikTok, the world donated enough money for a new mobility scooter and then some! He started giving back free mobility scooters to vets.

He became known as patriotic Kenny through this journey for his love of America and the servicemen and servicewomen who protect our country.

Join us in honoring the sailors who have served and continue to serve our nation, while recognizing the organizations and individuals dedicated to supporting our military community.
