Mercy Brown Bag Program Through "Seniors helping Seniors" we coordinate the distribution of free nutritious groceries to low-income seniors in Alameda County, CA.

With the help of hundreds of senior volunteers, Mercy Brown Bag Program provides nutritious groceries to thousands of low-income Alameda County seniors, twice a month, free of charge.

Our fridge is stocked to the brim, thanks to our partners at the Alameda County Community Food Bank! It is with donations like this, along with the many other partners we work with, that helped us to feed the over 8,000 low-income senior households that we served last year.
