A little reminder that Dana Elaine will be at When Modern Was in Noe Valley today from 1 to 5 PM! Come say hi to this fluffy little sweetheart. ❤️

At nine months old and just 11 pounds, Dana Elaine is affectionate, playful, and loves other dogs. A game of tug or a squeaky toy makes her day, and she has plenty of puppy energy to share.

Her foster is helping her learn her leash skills, and she’s coming along nicely. Now she just needs a loving home with someone ready to keep teaching her as she grows. ❤️

Teddy’s little glow up deserves a little attention. 🥹❤️

We don’t know what this eight-year-old Shar Pei mix’s life looked like before he came to us, but he arrived in pretty rough shape. Watching him heal and start to feel better has been so special, and we would love for him to continue that healing in a loving home.

Teddy is such an affectionate, sweet boy who enjoys people and other dogs. He’s been charming our volunteers with his gentle nature, and he has a playful side, too. A little fetch, a few zoomies, then a cuddle break. ❤️

He’s recovering from a procedure to help his vision, and he’ll need some patience and support as he settles into home life, including continuing to work on his house training.

A foster home would mean so much to Teddy. A forever home would be even better. Could you give this sweet boy a cozy place to rest and someone to love?

Guido is two years old, 50 pounds, and just the sweetest boy! ❤️

This handsome guy has so much love to give and would be an amazing companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He’s smart, playful, athletic, and loves making dog friends with proper introductions. He already knows sit, down, shake, and a few other tricks. He’s even a great car buddy!

And as much as Guido loves to play, he’s also a total lover who will happily soak up all the affection and belly rubs you’re willing to give. ❤️

Guido is such a wonderful dog, and we would LOVE to see him find his forever home. Until then, a foster home would be pretty wonderful too. ❤️

🌟Apply to meet Guido today! Fill out an adoption or foster application on our website or if you already have an application on file already, you can email us at [email protected] or [email protected]

And please share to help Guido find his people! ❤️

The best things come in big packages. Just ask Hank. ❤️

This three year old, 110 pound cutie has been patiently waiting for his forever home, and he has so much love to give. Once he feels comfortable with you, he’s ready to climb into your lap and request all the belly rubs you can spare. 🥹

Hank loves squeaky toys, plushies, and treats. He already knows sit and down, walks well on leash, and proudly holds the title of cleanest kennel!

He would do best as an only dog, though a well matched dog could be possible with slow, careful introductions.

We would love to see Hank finally have a home of his own, with someone who loves that big block head and the sweet boy behind it. We definitely recommend meeting Hank! ❤️

To adopt Hank, please fill out an application on our website. If you already have one on file, email [email protected].

Please share to help Hank find his forever home.

Little Gus is finding all the cozy spots while he waits for a soft place to land. ❤️

This five year old sweetheart arrived last week, and we’d love to see him curled up in a foster or forever home soon.

At just 12.5 pounds, Gus is a friendly little guy who enjoys people and other dogs and seems to have some basic training, too. In the short time he’s been with us, he’s already showing us what a wonderful dog he is, and our volunteers are falling in love with him.

If you have a cozy spot for Gus and some love to share, we’d love to hear from you. ❤️

Come meet Gus at our open house this Thursday from 1 to 4 PM, along with many other sweet pups looking for foster or forever homes!

Can’t make it Thursday? Please fill out a foster or adoption application on our website. If you already have one on file, email [email protected] or [email protected].

🐾 PRIME DAYS + FLEA & TICK SEASON = A GREAT TIME TO HELP ROCKET DOG! 🐾

If you’re doing a little Amazon shopping during Prime Days, would you consider adding something from the Rocket Dog Rescue wishlist to your cart? ❤️

Right now, we especially need flea & tick prevention for our dogs. And here’s a little Prime Day tip we just learned: Amazon Basics flea & tick products contain the same active ingredients as some of the more expensive brands. So if you’re looking for a way to make your donation dollars go further, that’s a great option — although we’ll happily take the name-brand stuff, too! 😉

We’ve added the products we need to our Amazon wishlist, so it’s easy to help. Every bottle, box and bag makes a difference when you’re caring for as many dogs as Rocket Dog does.

🛒 Shop our wishlist here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1DHJJUHKZFMW4

Thank you for helping keep our pups happy, healthy and, most importantly, flea-free! 🐶❤️

It’s that time of the week again. ❤️🐾

Seven sweet pups are making their way to us from Kern County today, and we desperately need foster homes waiting for them when they arrive.

Our sanctuary is tight on space, and we would love nothing more than to give these pups a soft landing straight into a cozy foster home where they can decompress and feel safe. We can’t wait to welcome them and get to know each one. ❤️

Along with our seven new arrivals, we have several wonderful dogs already at the sanctuary who would love a foster home or, even better, to find their forever home.

Foster & Adoption Pick Up is happening TONIGHT!
