Thank you to the Porter-Gaud Football team for spending your Friday helping build a wheelchair ramp for Ms. Bernice! 💚

Ms. Bernice is 88 years old and has called her home home for more than 60 years. As navigating the stairs became increasingly unsafe, leaving for medical appointments and daily routines became a major challenge. Thanks to this dedicated team, she now has safe access to her home, greater independence, and the peace of mind to continue living in the place she loves.

A huge thank you to Charleston Pro Bono’s summer interns for spending the day with us building a new ramp for Mr. Samuel! 💙

At 81 years old, Mr. Samuel has lived in his home for 27 years. As his old ramp became unsafe, leaving for medical appointments and daily routines became increasingly difficult. Thanks to this incredible team, he now has safer access and greater independence in the home he loves.

We are so grateful to this team for giving their time and energy to make everyday life safer for Mr. Samuel!

A huge thank you to our volunteers from for helping make Mr. Bobbie’s home safer! 💙

Mr. Bobbie is 67 years old and has lived in his home for more than 40 years. As his existing ramp became unsafe and unreliable, safe access to and from his home became increasingly important.

Thanks to this new ramp, Mr. Bobbie can move in and out of his home with greater safety, independence, and peace of mind. We are grateful for the North Palm volunteers for helping make this happen!

A huge thank you to the Matthew 25 volunteers for building this new ramp for Ms. Bertha!

Ms. Bertha is 78 years old and lives in Reevesville. As Alzheimer’s disease has progressed, navigating the stairs to her home became impossible, making medical appointments and daily routines incredibly challenging.

Thanks to this new ramp, Ms. Bertha can now enter and exit her home safely and receive the care she needs in the comfort of the place she knows best.

Mr. Tim is 73 years old and has lived in his home for more than 40 years. As the stairs became increasingly difficult and unsafe to navigate, leaving home for appointments and daily routines became a major challenge.

Thanks to this new ramp, Mr. Tim now has safer access, greater independence, and peace of mind as he continues living in the home he has loved for more than four decades.
