A big thank you to the SDC Capital Partners team for kicking off their Memorial Day weekend by building a ramp for Mr. Andy!

Mr. Any has lived in his home for over a decade. After suffering a stroke, his mobility was significantly impacted, making even basic entry and exit from his home a serious challenge. This new ramp provides safe, reliable access and brings him greater comfort in his life.

We were honored to welcome Dan Hankins from to our office after his support of this year’s Gimme Shelter event.

A big thank you to the team for joining us to build a ramp for Ms. Kimberly! 💙

Ms. Kimberly is 55 years old and relies on a wheelchair to safely navigate daily life. Without a safe way to enter and exit her home, everyday tasks have become difficult and unsafe. This new wheelchair ramp gives her safe, reliable access to her home and allow her to maintain her independence and access the care she needs.

For years, getting in and out of Ms. Deloris’s home meant relying on makeshift metal ramps and the help of neighbors.

Thanks to your support, she now has a safe wheelchair ramp that brings greater independence, safety, and peace of mind. 💚

Thank you to the team for coming out today to build a ramp for Ms. Annie!

Ms. Annie is 84 years old and recently underwent a surgery that left her requiring the use of a wheelchair. The existing brick stairs at her entrance made entering and exiting her home nearly impossible. With this new ramp, Ms. Annie now has the independence and security she needs to remain in the home she loves!

We are so grateful for partners like Indigo Reef Brewing Company who come back to volunteer with us year after year! Together we are repairing homes and restoring hope in our community! 💚

A huge thank you to for volunteering with us yesterday to build a ramp for Ms. Syrinia 💚

Ms. Syrinia is 67 years old and has called her house home for nearly four decades. Living on her own, she had reached a point where she no longer had a safe way to enter or exit her home. Thanks to this new ramp, her independence is restored, and she now has the security and peace of mind to continue living safely in the home she has loved.

We are so grateful for partners like Home Team BBQ who give their time and energy to make this work possible. We are especially excited to celebrate with them at Gimme Shelter tomorrow!

A huge thank you to past board member Ben Liebetrau and his men’s group from Seacoast Church for their support this weekend. They showed up in a big way, helping TWO families in one day, Ms. Yvette and Ms. Syrinia.

Ms. Yvette is 53 years old and has lived in her home for over a decade. As her mobility has declined, her safety became a growing concern. Thanks to this new ramp, she can continue living safely and comfortably in the home she loves.

Ms. Syrinia’s project is being completed by another volunteer group tomorrow, and we can’t wait to share more soon!
