For the first time, we're bringing this annual gathering to James Island County Park for a day dedicated to celebrating the land, heritage, and community that make the Lowcountry home.
Enjoy a traditional Lowcountry feast with an oyster option, connect with CHP foresters, and spend time with family, friends, and community supporters.

What a great day of learning, connection, and community!

The SC Rural Water Association - SCRWA and the Center for Heirs’ Property® (CHP) hosted a successful Florence County Sustainable Forestry Learning Workshop on Friday, October 9, 2026, at The Farm at Florence 1 in Florence, SC.

With a strong turnout and meaningful community participation, the workshop provided an opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and explore the importance of sustainable forestry and responsible land management.
