It’s time for the Employee Spotlight! Today, we're excited to feature another amazing member of Team Origin who clearly knows a thing or two about mental health. 🥰
Amy has worked at Origin for 5.5 years. She says, "Working at Origin has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I’ve had the privilege to help build our clinical practice from the ground up and now lead the team that brings that vision to life every day. Seeing how much the practice has grown — and the impact it continues to make — has been incredibly meaningful. What makes Origin especially fulfilling is how closely the mission aligns with my own commitment to whole-person, trauma-informed care, along with a culture that truly supports both the people we care for and the people providing that care."
Here Are Some Fun Facts About Amy:
1. Mental health counseling is my encore career — I spent 23 years in the defense industry, from software developer to VP of business development, before finally answering a lifelong calling. I’m living proof it’s never too late to follow your dreams. 💻
2. I’ve been with my wife Candace for 17 years (married 10), and we take exactly one thing very seriously: our dogs’ names. Current residents include Dr. Reiki Adler Hambone Bare, a 5-year-old, 75-pound Golden Retriever lapdog, and The Honorable Henry Maccabee Cornbread Bare, a 3-month-old Yorkshire Terrier - who is, in fact, neither honorable nor cornbread. 🐾
Amy's favorite color? She says, "Honestly? All of them. I’ve never understood having just one favorite color. 🌈"
