Urban Outdoor Stewards Our mission is to expose underserved youth to the outdoors, and to teach them to be stewards of simple and sustainable living in the natural environment.

Urban Outdoor Stewards (UOS) is an outdoor education program for underserved, urban youth located in the Chicora-Cherokee Neighborhood of North Charleston. We plan to teach our youth to engage in the outdoors, and to view their natural environment not only as a invaluable resource but also as their livelihood.
