🏁 FSAE Competition 2026: Day Five

Day five consisted of lots of welding, sealing, and zip-tying. The team ran into some more persistent problems than we hoped, leading to MR-26 not getting all of her tech stickers in time for the cutoff. Our team continued networking with other teams for design and team structure ideas to implement during our upcoming design year, which they’ve been discussing extensively on how to begin integrating. Michigan, Monarch Racing will be seeing you again soon!

🏁 FSAE Competition 2026: Day Four

The team had a great time in day four talking with the design judges to get inspiration, guidance, and feedback to put into our new competition car. MR-26 passed technical inspection, but had a few more reliability issues we sorted out overnight. At the end of the day, all teams lined up for the annual panoramic photo, which will be uploaded soon!

🏁 FSAE Competition 2026: Day Three!

Great day with the team today! After the trailer got dropped off we made lots of progress getting MR-26 ready for her dynamic events on Friday and Saturday.
We still need to smooth some edges out, but that’s sort of our specialty. Soon enough you’ll see our ODU blue flying past you...

We've been wrapping up some work on Legends in preparation for this Sunday. We will be racing autocross at Pungo Airfield thanks to ! We are also happy to announce that tomorrow (03/15) is ODU's Day of Giving. A link will be posted for our crowdfunding page, we are extremely grateful for all donations as it helps support our team and our efforts to get to competition! Thank you

We are in desperate need of funding to help build our FSAE and Baja vehicles, and then compete them against schools like Michigan and Virginia Tech.
