♻️💙 Every Wednesday, participants in Eggleston’s Ingleside Day Support Program take part in a meaningful community engagement activity at the Latter-day Saints Church, located at 4784 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.

Yesterday, they helped weave sleeping mats made from recycled grocery bags, which are then distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

The program is always in need of donated plastic grocery bags, and any contribution is greatly appreciated!

Giving back while building valuable skills. đź’™

Last Friday, individuals from Eggleston’s Ingleside Day Program volunteered at the Salvation Army Food Bank, helping sort, organize, and pack food for families in need.

They strengthened important vocational skills like communication, teamwork, following directions, and attention to detail, all while making a meaningful contribution to the community.

We’re proud to see our individuals learning, growing, and giving back.
