For Williamsburg Live Saturday night June 27, we are thrilled to welcome back Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, with special guest Theo Lawrence - tickets are moving fast for this concert, get yours now before it's too late at vafest.org!

For nearly four decades, Alison Krauss & Union Station have upheld their legacy as one of the most influential and widely celebrated acts in bluegrass and roots music. Known for an immaculately crafted but endlessly surprising sound that transcends the boundaries of roots, country, rock & roll, and pop.

The players – Alison Krauss (fiddle, lead vocal), Jerry Douglas (Dobro, lap steel, vocals), Ron Block (banjo, guitar, vocals), Barry Bales (bass, vocals), and welcoming highly acclaimed and celebrated tenor vocalist Russell Moore (guitar, mandolin, lead vocal) as the newest member – are five distinct personalities, each of whom enjoys a flourishing solo career. But when they come together, they transform into a peerless group of musicians who share a singular focus.

Our presentation of Labrinth: The Undoing Tour presented by the cosmic opera on August 23, 2026 has been cancelled.

A message from Labrinth:

I did all that I could do to set up this tour up as best I could… I’ve wanted to come see you all so badly for a long time but unfortunately the time and the circumstances aren’t lining up.

I hope in the future we can meet.

Sorry to inconvenience any of you. I’ll come see you when the planets align.

Ticket purchases made using a credit/debit card through one of the venue's authorized channels (Box Office, vafest.org or chartwayarena.com) will be refunded automatically to the card used to make the original purchase. Depending on your bank, it may take 7-10 business days before these funds are visible in your account.

CONCERT UPDATE: In the best interest of our patrons, and due to the extreme heat and weather advisory currently in effect, Virginia Arts Festival has made the decision to move A Solo Evening of Music with Chris Thile on Friday, June 12 indoors to the Attucks Theatre (1010 Church St., Norfolk, VA 23510).

All tickets previously purchased through the Virginia Arts Festival Box Office or vafest.org will be automatically transferred and will remain valid for admission to the performance.

Seating at the Attucks Theatre will be General Admission. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and allow extra time for entry and seating. Latecomers may be held until an appropriate break in the performance before being seated.

We appreciate our patrons' understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the health, safety, and comfort of everyone attending this performance.
