The child singers of the Wiener Sängerknaben / The Vienna Boys Choir have captivated audiences worldwide for over six centuries with their pure tone, distinctive charm, and wide-ranging repertoire. One of four touring choirs hailing from dozens of nations, they perform more than 300 concerts annually. Christmas in Vienna blends classical masterworks, international folk and popular songs, and seasonal favorites in a program designed to delight audiences of all ages.

Kilts and tartan abound as US National Scottish Fiddle Champion Seán Heely and a cast of nationally-acclaimed Celtic performers take you on a magical winter tour through the Scottish Highlands and across the rugged Irish coast. The fiddle and bagpipes will sweep you away to Christmastime and Winter Solstice celebrations that are sure to lift your holiday spirits and warm your heart. The festive journey follows ancient Gaelic carols and songs, tucked in perfectly with lively Irish tunes and familiar Christmas melodies with a Celtic twist.

Just Announced! Benefit concert for The Muse Writers Center - November 20 at Harrison Opera House! In this special benefit concert, musicians of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra join acclaimed historian and narrator Clay Jenkinson for America Coming of Age - an evocative exploration of three extraordinary American voices: Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Henry David Thoreau.

Through Jenkinson’s vivid narration, these thinkers emerge not simply as figures from the past, but as complicated, searching voices in an ongoing American conversation, voices asking what it means to build a nation, to define freedom, to engage with nature, and to imagine America’s future.
