Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of the end of slavery in the United States - a day dedicated to celebrating freedom, resilience, and the ongoing journey toward equity and justice.

Today, we remember the strength it took to get here, the progress we've made, and the ongoing work being done to achieve equality and freedom. 🧡

We will continue to work towards a community - a world - where every person has the opportunity to thrive.

Last Friday, we hosted our first ever "Build It. Brand It. Grow It." Thrive Business Workshop - an opportunity for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn the essential financial and administrative basics of launching and running a business 💼

This event was brought to life through real stories and hard-earned lessons from experienced business owners in the South Hampton Roads.

Attendees had the opportunity to network, hear from CEO's during a panel discussion, and won some raffle prizes! 🎉

Thanks to all in attendance!

This past weekend, we celebrated the graduation of 8 Aspire and Strive participants! 👏

Their achievements are more than moments, and we couldn't be more proud of what they've achieved to go from surviving to THRIVING.

Thank you to our Women United members who continue to invest in the future of women, making these programs possible. We also want to thank our incredible partners ForKids and Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia who run these life-changing programs 💜
