The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) was founded in 2006 after reporter Bob Woodruff was hit by a roadside bomb while covering the war in Iraq. Since then, the Bob Woodruff Foundation has led an enduring call to action for people to stand up for heroes and meet the emerging and long-term needs of today’s veterans. To date, BWF has invested over $80 million to find, fund, shape, and accelerate equitable programs that have empowered millions of impacted veterans, service members and their families. After receiving Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for the 6th year in a row, BWF is now in the top 1% of U.S. Additionally, BWF has received the GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Approval and is an Accredited Charity Seal Holder with the Better Business Bureau. Meet our Veterans Employment Symposium speaker: Blake Hall, Co-Founder and CEO of ID.me

Blake knows what it means to lead and to adapt. He served as an Army Ranger and led a reconnaissance platoon in Iraq. After his service, he built ID.me into a digital identity platform trusted by more than 174 million people and government agencies nationwide.

We’re excited for Blake’s talk at this year’s Veterans Employment Symposium on November 5. "The Future Belongs to the Adaptable" will dive into what he's learned about building a lasting career at a time when technology and the economy keep changing, and why the skills veterans developed in uniform are exactly what the future calls for.

When a Tyndall Air Force Base Airman and her husband faced an unexpected car repair bill for their family’s only vehicle, they had no idea how they would continue to get to work and to his medical appointments.

Thanks to support from the Navy Federal Credit Union, the Air & Space Forces Aid Society was able to cover the car’s repair costs, providing the family with reliable transportation at a critical moment in their service.

This is what the partnership between Bob Woodruff Foundation, Navy Federal Credit Union, and Air Force Aid Society is all about: helping military families navigate unexpected challenges and get the support they need when it matters most.
