ACA, New York and New Jersey accredits summer camps based upon 300 health, safety and program standards. ACA Accreditation is a nationwide program and is the only nationwide camp accreditation in the country. American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. ACA, New York and New Jersey offers a wide variety of professional development experiences to help camp directors and staff improve the camp experience. Professional development opportunities range from our four day, three thousand attendee, Tri-State Camp Conference to smaller conferences, e-learning and customized in service trainings. ACA, New York and New Jersey trainings help camp professionals stay life-long learners and run better camp programs.
