We were thrilled to have a table at the Bronx LGBTQ+ expo today. Special thanks to Recoveries R Us (Recoveries R US LLC) and Coco Montrese (CoCo Montrese) for hosting us! We had a great time connecting with the community about our work of creating permanent families for older youth in foster care. We’re looking forward to next year. Happy Pride, everyone!

Many thanks to SMBC for selecting You Gotta Believe as a finalist in the 2026 Analyst Charity Pitch Competition! We were thrilled to be awarded $15,000 to support our work in finding permanent families for older youth in foster care. Our incredible team, Chris, Mateo, Michael, and Matthew, delivered a stunning presentation. With the support of their corporate mentor, Valerie, they truly demonstrated a commitment to represent YGB successfully. Congratulations to everyone involved; we deeply appreciate all the hard work.

Many thanks to Liberty Kiwanis Club Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Cyclones for inviting YGB staff, families, and youth to a recent baseball game. We had a truly lovely time in the sunshine. It was also wonderful to watch our anniversary video, featuring two of our families, on the big screen. Thank you to everyone who came out to spend this day with us!

We were honored to attend Th3 Adopt3d On3: A Fundraiser Experience — a powerful one-man show performed by Jeff Brown.

The show deeply reflected so much of what we teach and advocate for every day: the importance of understanding trauma, supporting youth in care, and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to experience family.

We were also grateful to table at the event and connect with new supporters of our mission. Jeff has been a longtime friend and supporter of YGB, and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to partner together for such a meaningful evening 💙
