Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 17th Precinct’s National Night Out Against Crime at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza.

National Night Out brings residents, law enforcement, local organizations, elected officials and other partners together to strengthen relationships and build safer, more connected neighborhoods.

We were grateful to see so many familiar faces — and plenty of new ones — come out for an evening of conversation, activities and fun with the 17th Precinct and our community partners.

We look forward to seeing you again at our next Community Council meeting on September 15.

This holiday season, the 17th Precinct is proud to support children and families at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone through our annual Holiday Toy Drive.

A simple gift can bring comfort, joy, and a moment of normalcy to a child facing serious medical challenges. We invite our neighbors and local businesses to help us brighten their holidays by donating a new, unwrapped toy.

Together, we can show these children—and their families—that our community is thinking of them and wishing them strength, warmth, and hope this season.
