Take a behind-the-scenes look at Jaque Jours’ creative process as she brought the poster to life while moving back to Texas — a journey that became a full-circle moment. 🎨

Inspired by the diversity, movement, and energy of New York City, Jours created an artwork that captures the spirit of the Brooklyn Book Festival: a celebration that brings authors and readers from around the world together in Downtown Brooklyn — on the iconic Big Stairs at Borough Hall. 📚

📚 Book lovers, assemble!

Help make the best one yet. We're looking for volunteers to join our team as Author Escorts, Signing Assistants, Line Managers, Information Booth Assistants, and Floaters. If one of these roles sounds like the perfect fit, be sure to register by September 2, 2026!

Volunteers must be 18 or older and attend a brief Zoom training session before the festival. As a thank-you, every volunteer will receive an official Brooklyn Book Festival T-shirt to wear during their shift.
