Today, we welcomed Izzy Ton and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital to the Park Slope Center for Successful Aging for an informative health talk on the importance of strength training for older adults.

Our members learned how building strength can improve balance, boost energy, and support independence as we age.

We loved welcoming students from Wonder School to the Park Slope Center for Successful Aging for a special intergenerational afternoon with our members!

Everyone gathered around different activity tables to spend time together—from playing games created by the students, to watercolor painting, to sharing stories and conversation. It was a wonderful opportunity for two generations to learn from one another, get creative, and simply enjoy being together.
