USA TODAY bestselling author I.V. Ophelia is known for her gothic vampire series The Poisoner. Born in small-town New England, she now haunts the streets of New York City, writing the most unhinged tales she can conjure. When not crafting gothic romance, she works as a full-time artist, hoards 19th-century gowns and antique furniture, dotes on her menagerie of pets, and plots her next literary transgression.

Michele had the opportunity to interview IV Ophelia, which you can read on the Geeks OUT blog.

Ursula Vernon, aka T. Kingfisher is the author and illustrator of far more projects than is probably healthy. She has written over fifty novels for both children and adults, an epic webcomic called “Digger” and various short stories and other odds and ends. The daughter of an artist, she spent her youth attempting to rebel, but eventually succumbed to the siren song of paint (although not before getting a degree in anthropology.) Ursula grew up in Oregon and Arizona, went to college at Macalester College in Minnesota, and stayed there for ten years, until she finally learned to drive in deep snow and was obligated to leave the state. Having moved across the country several times, she eventually settled in New Mexico, where she works full-time as an artist and creator of oddities. She lives with her husband, her garden, and his chickens.

Michele had the opportunity to interview T. Kingfisher, which you can read on the Geeks OUT blog.

Velinxi (Xiao Tong Kong) is an Eisner Award-nominated webcomic creator, illustrator, and aspiring novelist. Her chronic daydreaming has led to the creation of Countdown to Countdown, DPS Only!, and most recently the USA Today bestseller Daughter of a Thousand Faces. The few hours of the week when she’s not drawing or sleeping are spent on D&D, video games, and going down historical rabbit holes.

Michele had the opportunity to interview Velinxi, which you can read on the Geeks OUT blog.
