đ Weâve got another event this month!!
Join Souls in Focus on Saturday June 20th for a photo tour at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Participants will join Souls in Focus and Schomburg staff to view curated images from the libraryâs collection from photographers such as James Van Der Zee, Marilyn Nance, and Malick SidibĂŠ. Participants will also learn more about the historical significance of the Schomburg and its public resources in relation to Harlem and New York City.
We will meet off-site at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The curated tours begin at 12:00 pm. Following the tours, participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras to document the surroundings of Schomburg and the Harlem community.Â
