A successful first for Port Authority’s WLEA! 🏋🏽‍♀️
Our first Wellness Event was a beautiful reminder of the importance of prioritizing ourselves while continuing to uplift and support one another. We also had the opportunity to connect with the ladies of Newark Police Department and other female members of the force, building bonds through wellness, unity, and sisterhood. A special thank you to Alpha Fit Club for welcoming us into their home! This is just the beginning. 🦿🦾

🎀 October | Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This October, the women of WLEA stand united in support of every woman affected by breast cancer—our sisters in law enforcement, our mothers, daughters, wives, friends, and loved ones.

We honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside those still in the fight. 🎀

As women who protect and serve, we know the power of standing shoulder to shoulder. This month, we wear pink not just as a symbol of awareness, but as a reminder that no woman fights alone. 💗

Today was a beautiful reminder that giving back is about more than what we bring. Giving back is about the moments we share and the lives we touch.

The women of the PAPD WLEA proudly delivered 23 baskets of classroom necessities to Pre-K & Kindergarten classrooms serving children with varying levels of special needs at Bryant Elementary School.📚🎒

Upon delivery we were able to sit with these incredible children, read, sing, laugh, and share some smiles. 💙

A special thank you to all of our WLEA members who volunteered their time and helped make today possible. 🙌🏽

Rain or shine, today the women of the PAPD WLEA came together for Tunnels to Towers. Running alongside our brothers and sisters, we honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice and stood in support of the families and heroes who continue to carry their legacy forward. 💙

From the streets to our airports, bridges, tunnels, PATH, WTC and every corner of the agency—your dedication and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.

💙 INSPIRE & EMPOWER 💙

We’re excited to deliver 23 baskets of school supplies to classrooms serving Pre-K & Kindergarten students with different levels of special needs. 📚✨

Afterward, our volunteers will have the opportunity to read a book and engage with the students! 💙

✨ No donations needed! All supplies are sponsored by the Association through our fundraising efforts. ✨
