Help‼️

We need a foster or an adopter as soon as possible for this beautiful 10-month-old angel named Dove! Same old story, she was found abandoned and unfixed, cowering behind some garbage on busy Myrtle Avenue. We got her all taken care of now and she's ready for a permanent home or at least a temporary foster. She's super sweet, very friendly, seems okay with other cats and is very petite and loves to chat!

We can't believe that this lovely lady is still up for adoption!!!

Misha is an adorable, outgoing, funny, petite, 4 month old kitten who has a big personality. She loves to play, snuggle and boss her brothers around. She has always been described as the leader of the pack! She's also super snuggly and loving. We thought for sure she'd be the first of our bunch of kittens to get adopted, but she's still looking for a home. She has the cutest little mustache and a white tip on her tail!

She's so awesome she inspired the artist's portrait shown above! 😻

Misha has been lovingly raised around people and her brothers since she was 5 weeks old. She's looking for a home with another kitty (or doggie) to play with. Apply to adopt on our website:

We finally got the baby!!! After spending whole Sunday at the Cemetary trapping, staying there overnight and all Monday we finally got her at almost 11pm. We got her mom last night so we had to get the kitten, she’s too small to be on her own. We’re exhausted but super happy!!

We haven’t been posting much because we’re simply too busy with constant trapping and taking care of the cats in our care. But there are fun moments too if you look at the videos… it’s like making movies for Animal Planet😍😂

While we work our asses off some people still think it’s ok to send us msg like this.

So let’s explain few things:

- We are 3 volunteers helping cats after our regular jobs.
- We do not get paid for running the cat rescue.
- We are not emergency service because we simply don’t have ability to respond immediately while we work, trap, run for vet visits etc. If we’re around and able to, we respond but it’s not always possible.

- We do not know where you live unless you provide specific location in your msg. We only operate in our Ridgewood neighborhood as we simply don’t have capacity to expand to other areas. We already have hands full and not able to help all the cats in our neighborhood as there’s simply too many cats in need.

- Anyone can try to help a cat in need until permanent arrangements can be made. We’ve met so many wonderful people stepping up for a cat they found on the street and we’re happy to help with low cost spay/neuter etc but we can’t always intake the kitty as we do not have facilities to hold cats long term.

So no Terry, you do not get to tell us we have no compassion and are awful while we work our asses every day trying to help the cats because we were not able to help you.

Rescue work is already hard enough without people trying to gilt trip us because they think we don’t do enough. We do as much as we can and it’s way more than most people. So no Terry, you do not get to bash us.

‼️We still have some really fantastic kittens that are looking for forever homes!!

All of our kittens are super sweet, playful and love cuddles. We've got three girls, Alma( 4 months), Misha (10 weeks) and Maple (4 months). We've also got sweet Spruce the only boy, and brother to Maple.

🎉 Remember Marley the poor terrified boy who was found on Stockholm Street? Well he has been really relaxing and coming out of his shell in his foster, proving to be a sweet, mushy guy. He's roughly 2 years old and would love a forever home.

🌟Finally, need reliable fosters to apply (people who actually want to foster and will follow through). Unfortunately, we can only have fosters that live in a reasonable distance from Ridgewood on a train line and within about 20 minutes (Thanks to those who applied from other further away neighborhoods, but it's very hard to manage if the cats are too far away!)

Does everybody remember the crazy rescue we did last year where there was a cat stuck in a very tight shaft between two buildings and the only access we had was from the third floor? We had to lower traps out a window and lure her in and haul her up. With the help of and she was lifted to safety and determined to have no serious injuries.

Well now she needs YOUR help!! Almond has had a very tumultuous life through no fault of her own. She is a super sweet, friendly and beautiful girl and she is fully vetted. At one time she lived with her brother, so she should be fine with other cats. Due to the unfortunate consequences of addiction her original owner had to give her up and subsequently died. After her rescue, his friends tried to care for her for the last year, but one has been hospitalized with severe illness and the other is losing their housing which, means so is she.

Almond has always known a lot of love despite the instability her humans have dealt with. She will have no place to go in 18 days. She's a really sweet, beautiful, easygoing, friendly cat and will provide tons of love!! She's approximately 2 years old and I'm has been fully vetted. She is looking for a forever, stable home. Please consider applying to adopt or even to foster if you can't adopt right now.

We are getting messages everyday about new kittens and we just can't take in any more until we get some adopted!!
