Our beautiful perma-wink girl Hazelnut is still looking for her purrever home! She was found during a TNR project, trying to fend for herself out on the streets. She's about 2 years old and fully vetted. One of her eyes needed to be removed due to an old injury, but It has no long-term effect on her health. Her Foster describes her as extremely smart, very loving and cuddly. She's a real character and has a great personality. She really loves to eat and make biscuits.

Won't you consider giving her a permanent home? She's definitely guaranteed to be a load of fun!

Welcome our new kitten Ruby everyone. She run in front of Heather’s car Monday night near Myrtle and Otto. We had to pull her out from a car where she was hiding inside. No mamma cat or other kittens around so maybe she hitched a ride hidden in a car. She was blackened with sooth from the car and has horrible diarrhea. She’s getting all the care that she needs and is already purring when snuggled.
She will be needing a permanent home soon…. And we have many other kitties waiting for their forever humans to show up for them to do please apply to adopt if you’re able to provide loving home with adequate care.

🎉We still have some fantastic kittens looking for their forever homes! Small Fry and Kevin Bacon are brothers that are about 3 and 1/2 months. They were born in a bodega basement but have been lovingly raised by a foster. Of course they love to play and get into lots of kitten antics!😻 They can be adopted together or to a home with another pet to play with.

Chas is about 7 months old. He is truly the life of the party. He is very adaptable, confident, easy going and absolutely loves to play! He would love a friend but could go home on his own as well!

‼️Found! A young, super friendly (and very hungry) female kitty was found on Greene Avenue between Onderdonk Avenue and Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens. No Microchip, appears to be under 1-year-old. Please reach out if anyone knows who this beautiful cat belongs to. If no one comes forward, she will be up for adoption!

We trapped a pregnant momma yesterday and she’s getting spayed today. It’s of utmost importance to have them spayed BEFORE you see kittens around. But unfortunately that’s when too many people notice and expect rescues to take the kittens in. Unfortunately no matter how we all stretch we won’t be able to take them all in as there simply aren’t enough people doing cat rescue and TNR… this is your opportunity to step in, get TNR certified and TNR the cats in your own backyard, on your block. Or at least report adult unfixed cats before there are kittens around. Prevention is easier than dealing with the aftermath. It always start with the mom so if she gets spayed we avoid getting overwhelmed with her kittens.

Are you having as much fun this evening as we are now?😬
This poor kitty was stuck in a tree since the morning. It’s always difficult to get help of someone willing and able to go up the tree. We got super lucky because Jalil who works for conEd was nearby with truck with bucket ladder and agreed to help. We couldn’t get the cat without his help so huge round of applause for Jalil people.
Kitty was super terrified and trying to escape so we got some battle wounds, especially Tara. But we’re glad the kitty is secured. It was a group effort so thank you everyone who was there to help and didn’t walk away until the cat was safe.
Owners really failed him and a second cat.

This poor baby was finally trapped today. We think he was abandoned and was trying to survive on the streets best he could but it doesn’t go well for home cats. He has a bite wound and other lacerations…
We urgently and desperately need someone to step up for this bubba and commit to adopt him as we simply can’t intake another cat that’s gonna get stuck with us for months or years.
He seems older and has some eye issues, possibly loosing his vision. If you “just do it” and commit to adopt him we will get him neutered and vetted to get a full picture… but we really need someone who can commit to give him home RIGHT NOW.

This is difficult post to make. Many people prefer to not see pictures like this because they are very disturbing. Unfortunately the cat was not given a choice to become this image and this is the sad reality for way too many cats living on the streets. This one was just a baby, 4-5 months, just trying to cross very busy street.
What really makes me furious is that no one stopped for him to see if he could be helped. People kept driving past him or worse over him to the point we had to peel his intestines off the asphalt. How long was he like this? How long did he suffer?
Taking his tiny tortured body off the street to have cremated was the only thing we could do for him to give home some dignity. But as a humanity we completely failed him. He shouldn’t be living and dying on the streets, he deserved better than this.
