Last weekend, we performed at not 1️⃣ but 2️⃣ fantastic Oktoberfests! 🍻

First up, on October 3rd we had a fun-filled fall day at Old Bethpage Village Restoration’s Oktoberfest!! Long Island’s past is still shaping its present in Old Bethpage Village, and an Oktoberfest atmosphere came alive there last week! We can’t wait to perform again next year at the barn!🍻✨

Next was the annual Traubenfest hosted by the Noble Ninth at the German Masonic Park in Tappan, New York! It was a rainy day, but it did not stop us or the attendees from having a great time!🇩🇪

No Nor’Easter can stop us from having a great time! 🌧️We had such a fun time at the St. Peter the Apostle’s annual Oktoberfest! Big thank you the the organizers for having us! We can’t wait to perform for them again next year! 🇩🇪🍻✨

On September 17th, we kicked off our fall dance season with the NYPD Steuben Association’s annual Oktoberfest! It was a fun event that we enjoy performing at every year! 🇩🇪🇦🇹🇺🇸🍻

After a relaxing summer, Die Erste Gottscheer Tanzgruppe is back for a fun and busy fall dance season!!!! Check out our calendar below for all the events that you will find us performing at!!!

And just like that, our 2026 spring/summer season has come to end! What an amazing time at the combined Treffen/Volksfest Weekend! We started off the weekend with a beautiful mass at St. Matthias Church! We then continued the afternoon with a banquet at Gottscheer Hall! After a delicious dinner, we performed for our guests! Following our performance, our friends and family from the Gottscheer Tanz und Spielkreis and Kitchener Alpine Dancers joined us for our traditional group dance! It was such a fun time getting to dance all together!

We wrapped up the weekend at Plattduetsche Park for the annual Gottscheer Volksfest! It was a great day, as always! ✨🩵

Thank you for following along with us during our busy dance season! We can’t wait to perform again for Oktoberfest season, but first comes a much needed break! Until then… ☀️🍻

Did you hear? Today is National Dance Day! We can’t wait to dance into the spring/summer season when we perform during the combined Treffen/Volksfest weekend from June 5th-7th! We can’t wait to see you all there!💕🌸
