🎻✨ Invest in the Future of Young Musicians ✨🎻

At Lyrica Baroque, we believe music has the power to transform lives, build confidence, and create community. Through mentorship, education, and performance opportunities, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of artists and ensuring that young musicians have access to life-changing musical experiences for years to come.

To help secure that future, Lyrica Baroque is proud to launch the Barbara Strauss Philleo Restricted Reserve Fund — a meaningful initiative created to strengthen the organization’s long-term sustainability and operational capacity. This board-restricted reserve fund will help position Lyrica Baroque to remain resilient through changing economic conditions while continuing to expand opportunities for youth in our community.

This campaign is especially close to our hearts as we honor the life and legacy of Barbara Strauss Philleo, mother of Executive Director Jaren Atherholt. Barbara was a passionate supporter of the arts and a dedicated champion of young musicians. In tribute to her enduring impact, an anchor gift of $15,000 from her estate will establish the reserve fund and begin this important legacy initiative.

Interest earned from the invested reserve will directly support youth participating in NOLA Chamber Fest, continuing Barbara Philleo’s long-standing sponsorship of the festival’s High School Division and helping young artists thrive through education, mentorship, and performance experiences.

Every contribution helps build a stronger, more sustainable future for arts education and youth development in our community.

🎶 Join us in preserving this legacy and empowering the next generation of musicians.

GiveNOLA Day is here! Today we are celebrating the work we do all year to bring chamber music to the New Orleans community. It’s not too late to make a gift.

Our work is guided by the conviction that classical chamber music performed at the highest artistic level has the power to inspire, heal, and reveal our shared humanity.

Lyrica Baroque cultivates a collaborative network of students, musicians, and community members through three core program areas: (1) in-school K-4 programs that teach social-emotional skills through a music-integrated curriculum; (2) a youth chamber music festival; and (3) a performance series.
