Mr. Omar, a 77-year-old Palestinian man and 50-year resident of Louisiana, is safe from ICE’s abuse. His attorney worked with us through our Justice Lab: Immigration program and has won repeatedly against ICE. But this administration continues to ignore the law and violates federal orders. We are helping to train and deploy a legal force across the nation. Mr. Omar’s freedom is one example of its impacts thus far.
