Being emotionally strong does not mean never crying, never struggling, or always having it together.
Emotional strength looks like:
Naming what you feel.
Asking for help.
Taking a break before reacting.
Talking instead of shutting down.
Trying again after a hard day.
Learning what helps you feel grounded.
Strength is not pretending you’re okay.
Sometimes strength is saying, “I’m not okay, and I need someone to talk to.”
That is brave.
