October is a reminder that mental health matters.

At the Brandon’s House 5K, people signed the “Why We Walk” banner, each with their own reason, story, or person who makes this mission personal.

Behind every signature is a reminder that mental health touches more lives than we may ever realize.

Here’s our challenge this October: Share in the comments — WHY does mental health awareness matter to you? Maybe it’s a loved one, your own journey, or simply the belief that nobody should have to struggle alone.

Let’s use our stories to remind someone they’re not alone. 💚

We ran and walked in memory of Ella Walker, and her spirit was felt all along the Greenway. Thank you for helping kindness go the distance.
