Mindful Connections is SO excited to announce something brand new this fall…

✨ THE HARVESTING HOPE COMMUNITY DRIVE! ✨

Throughout October, Mindful Connections will be collecting essential items to benefit Love Unlimited Community Outreach and help individuals and families right here in our community. 🤎

This is our first community care drive, and I am so excited to see what we can accomplish when our community comes together! 🥹🍁

🧴 Travel-size hygiene products
🩹 First-aid supplies — NO medications, please
🧤 Cold-weather essentials
👕 Sweatshirts, sweatpants, sweat sets & jackets
🧣 Blankets, scarves, gloves, winter hats & hand warmers

📍 We’ll have FIVE donation drop-off opportunities throughout October in Jeffersonville, Clarksville & New Albany!

⏰ All drop-offs will be from 3:00–4:00 PM.
📌 Exact meeting locations will be announced on our social media as they are confirmed.

At the end of the drive, everything collected by Mindful Connections will be personally delivered to Love Unlimited Community Outreach. 🫶

You don’t have to fill an entire bag to make a difference. One bottle of shampoo. One pair of gloves. One warm blanket. Every donation adds up. Every act of kindness matters. 🩷

I cannot wait to kick this off on October 1st! 🍂

While current temps this week are still summer-like, cold weather is on the horizon.

Do you have any blankets you don't need or want that we could provide to someone in need?

We can arrange pickup, meet, or you can drop off to us Saturdays from 12:30pm to 3pm.

Every little bit makes a difference to someone in need.

We are having walking tacos with a choice of Fritos or Doritos this Saturday. This should be a yummy treat for our friends.

We do need help with a few items.

Any and all help is much appreciated!

We also have no wipes, if anyone can help with some.

It was great to be back today serving those in need after a weekend off. It only rained while everyone was enjoying their meal, which worked out great!

We had so much food, thanks to the Love Crew and to Charlotte Bass and Jane for buying pizza AND desserts! It was a 2 plate day. Thanks to our Board and volunteers for showing up every Saturday making this happen.

We were also able to provide hygiene, first aid, some clothing, and blankets today thanks to Hope Southern Indiana

Thank you to our anonymous donor for the much needed clothing and hats and female under garnets. We never get those in so that was an awesome surprise!!

We are always grateful for Central Christian Church, New Albany, Indiana who kindly open their doors to us and those in need.

We can't keep wipes in stock. The need is definitely there. We also need more flashlights and batteries, especially since we are getting into the time of year where we have more darkness. Our blanket supply is low as well.

As we have mentioned, we will not be serving this Saturday, October 3rd. The Harvest Homecoming Parade will interfere with volunteers and guests getting in and out of the parking lot at that time.

Also, Central Christian Church, New Albany, Indiana is holding their annual yardsale on Friday and Saturday. Stop by and see what hidden treasures await.

We will return October 10th.

The Love Crew came through today with a great meal once again. The meatballs were a huge hit! Thank you to our good friends Charlotte Bass and Jane for buying our main dish this week and providing the cakes!! Always a hit!!

We also provided some clothing, first aid, hygiene items and flashlights. Essential things most of us have at our fingertips.

We also got to hand out snack bags courtesy of St. John Paul II in Sellersburg. What a nice addition that was!

We got a really nice water donation today, but are still in need of more.

We celebrated a birthday, a few sobriety dates, and had several prayer requests today.

We are always so grateful to Central Christian Church, New Albany, Indiana for giving us a place to call home to serve those in need.

Speaking of, Central Christian Church has their annual yard sale next weekend. Details can be found on their page.

We will not have outreach next Saturday. The building will be in use and the Harvest Homecoming Parade will be going down Spring Street. This causes issues for volunteers to get in and out.

We will be back October 10th with another good meal, essential items, and love.

We run solely on the generosity of our community. Every week, people who are struggling, hurting, and often overlooked count on our support.
