Last night TNJFON had the honor of hosting the “Nashville’s New Americans: Tracing the Journeys of Our Immigrant Neighbors” Book Talk!

This past Monday, TNJFON joined Dr. Natalia Pelaz, Associate Dean for Student Success and Academic Programs and Associate Professor of Spanish at Belmont University, and Elizabeth Elfers, founding chairwoman of Cabrini Connection Immigration Ministry at ctk_nashville Christ the King Catholic Church, for an important conversation about faith and today’s immigration landscape.

Together, the panel explored common misconceptions about immigration, the complexities of the immigration process, and what it looks like to welcome our neighbors and treat every person with dignity.
