We’re proud to share that Casa Azafrán has received the Empower Tennessee Beacon of Opportunity Award, recognizing its commitment to inclusion, belonging, and community.

Last week, during their celebration of the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, our friends at Empower Tennessee recognized the progress made in creating a more inclusive society for individuals with disabilities.

Casa Azafrán was created to be a welcoming home where immigrant families and all Nashvillians can build brighter futures. Today, it’s a vibrant nonprofit collaborative and home to 8 organizations that strive to bring our whole community together.

Nos llena de orgullo compartir que Casa Azafrán ha recibido el Premio Beacon of Opportunity de Empower Tennessee, en reconocimiento a su compromiso con la inclusión, el sentido de pertenencia y la comunidad.

La semana pasada, durante la celebración del 36.º aniversario de la Ley para Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA, por sus siglas en inglés), nuestros amigos de Empower Tennessee reconocieron el progreso logrado en la construcción de una sociedad más inclusiva para las personas con discapacidad.

Casa Azafrán nació para ser un espacio acogedor donde las familias inmigrantes y toda la comunidad de Nashville puedan construir un mejor futuro. Hoy es un vibrante centro de colaboración para organizaciones sin fines de lucro y el hogar de ocho organizaciones que trabajan a diario para fortalecer y unir a nuestra comunidad.

Our Casa Azafrán partners at TNJFON hosted their own Paletas to the Polls, where they proudly cast their ballots and shared what civic engagement means to them. Every vote is an opportunity to make your voice heard and help shape our community.

Early voting continues through August 1. If you’re a registered Davidson County voter, come vote at Casa Azafrán, we’d love to welcome you!
