We’re excited to announce that BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA is taking a slightly different approach this fall! 🔥

For Fall 2026, we’re shifting our focus from a traditional weekly league format to a competitive tournament series across the Ark-La-Tex.

Why? Because we believe our basketball community needs more opportunities to compete without adding another long-term league commitment to an already busy fall and winter basketball calendar.

Our goal is to provide teams with quality, competitive tournament opportunities where you can bring your team, choose the weekends that work for you, and compete!

🏆 SCHOOL • CHURCH • RECREATION • AAU • INDEPENDENT TEAMS

We want YOUR team on the court! 🏀🔥

Whether you represent a school, church, recreation program, AAU organization, or independent team, bring your squad and compete in the BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA Tournament Series!

🔥 Competitive matchups
🏀 Quality tournament experiences
🏆 Opportunities to compete
🤝 A positive environment built around character, sportsmanship & teamwork

And don’t worry — this isn’t the end of league play! We will revisit the traditional league format for Spring and Summer 2027 as we continue listening to our families, coaches, and basketball community.

For Fall 2026, we’re bringing you tournaments built around flexibility, competition and community.

❤️ Five Years. 10 Student-Athletes. One Incredible Legacy of Love.

What began as a way to honor CJ has become a lasting investment in the lives of young leaders.

This year, we are proud to congratulate Sydney Woods and Nate Castel, who join a special group of student-athletes recognized for demonstrating the same values CJ lived every day—kindness, humility, leadership, compassion, resilience, and service to others.

With their selection, the BeLikeCJ Foundation has now awarded scholarships to 10 deserving student-athletes over the past five years. What an incredible milestone!

To every donor, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter—thank you. Your generosity has helped turn CJ’s legacy into opportunities that will impact lives for generations to come.

❤️ Congratulations to our 2026 BeLikeCJ Scholarship recipients, Sydney Woods and Nate Castel—the 9th and 10th recipients of the BeLikeCJ Scholarship!

Together, we’re proving that a legacy isn’t measured by how long someone lived, but by how many lives they continue to inspire. 💜

BeLikeCJ Legacy Dinner & Awards | June 11, 2026

One of the most meaningful evenings of the year, the BeLikeCJ Legacy Dinner & Awards, brought our community together to honor CJ’s life and celebrate those who are making a lasting difference.

The evening recognized outstanding athletes, coaches, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters who embody the values of the BeLikeCJ Foundation through their leadership, service, and commitment to others.

It was a night filled with:
Special awards and recognition
Inspiring stories of hope, resilience, and impact
Entertainment, fellowship, and celebration
A shared commitment to teamwork, leadership, and leaving a lasting legacy

As we celebrated CJ’s life, we were reminded that his legacy continues to inspire lives, strengthen our community, and encourage the next generation to lead with kindness, humility, and purpose.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this unforgettable evening possible. Together, we will continue honoring CJ’s legacy while building a brighter future for generations to come. 💜

50+ Teams. One Incredible Weekend. One Lasting Impact. 💜

More than 50 teams came together for a weekend that was about so much more than basketball.

At the BeLikeCJ Memorial Tournament, we celebrated community, mentorship, leadership, and the importance of becoming the Ultimate Teammate—both on and off the court.

The weekend featured:
An inspiring Opening Ceremony
Powerful messages on character, leadership, and sportsmanship
Exciting, competitive basketball
💜 Community connection, family fun, and lasting memories

Thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, and fan who helped make this event so special. Together, we’re building more than athletes—we’re building future leaders.

💜 BeLikeCJ Walk of Love: Sports Edition | May 9, 2026

What an unforgettable event!💜

Our BeLikeCJ Walk of Love: Sports Edition brought together student-athletes for more than just sports—it was a day focused on building character, leadership, and heart.

Together, we challenged our athletes to:
Be the ultimate teammate
Show great sportsmanship
Maintain a positive attitude & body language
Lead with respect and compassion
Walk in humility through both victory and defeat

Thanks to the generosity of Chick-fil-A and Chicken Express, every participant enjoyed a meal, received a free BeLikeCJ shirt, and experienced a day filled with encouragement and purpose.

At BeLikeCJ Foundation, we believe championships come and go, but character lasts forever. The greatest legacy an athlete can leave isn’t found on a scoreboard—it’s found in how they treat others.
