Registration is now open for the BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA League, and divisions are already beginning to fill!

If you’ve been looking for a league that combines skill development, character building, and fun, this is it!

✅ Boys & Girls | Ages 8–14
🏀 6 Divisions (Boys & Girls 3rd/4th, 5th/6th & 7th/8th Grade)
📅 Games: Every Saturday beginning September 12
⏰ Game Times: Start at 9:00 AM
🏀 Practices: Every Sunday beginning 2:00 PM
👕 Every player receives an Official Jr. NBA/WNBA Uniform

Why the BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA League? 💜

This is more than just another basketball league.

We’re creating a place where young athletes can:
⭐ Build confidence
⭐ Develop basketball skills
⭐ Learn teamwork and leadership
⭐ Make lifelong friendships
⭐ Play with purpose and have FUN!

Every Saturday, boys and girls from across the Ark-La-Tex will come together to compete, grow, and represent their teams in the official BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA League.

BIG NEWS, ARK-LA-TEX!

Something BIG is coming to youth sports!

The Be Like CJ Foundation is proud to launch the Be Like CJ Jr. NBA/WNBA Youth Sports League!

We’re tipping things off this fall with our Basketball League for boys and girls ages 8–14—and this is just the beginning.

Over the coming months, we’ll also be introducing:
🏈 Flag Football
⚽ Soccer
⚾ Baseball
🏐 Volleyball

Our mission is bigger than sports. Through athletics, we’re building confident kids, strong teammates, future leaders, and stronger families.

❤️ Five Years. 10 Student-Athletes. One Incredible Legacy of Love.

What began as a way to honor CJ has become a lasting investment in the lives of young leaders.

This year, we are proud to congratulate Sydney Woods and Nate Castel, who join a special group of student-athletes recognized for demonstrating the same values CJ lived every day—kindness, humility, leadership, compassion, resilience, and service to others.

With their selection, the BeLikeCJ Foundation has now awarded scholarships to 10 deserving student-athletes over the past five years. What an incredible milestone!

To every donor, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter—thank you. Your generosity has helped turn CJ’s legacy into opportunities that will impact lives for generations to come.

One of the most meaningful evenings of the year, the BeLikeCJ Legacy Dinner & Awards, brought our community together to honor CJ’s life and celebrate those who are making a lasting difference.

The evening recognized outstanding athletes, coaches, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters who embody the values of the BeLikeCJ Foundation through their leadership, service, and commitment to others.

It was a night filled with:

At the BeLikeCJ Memorial Tournament, we celebrated community, mentorship, leadership, and the importance of becoming the Ultimate Teammate—both on and off the court.

What an unforgettable event!💜

Our BeLikeCJ Walk of Love: Sports Edition brought together student-athletes for more than just sports—it was a day focused on building character, leadership, and heart.

Together, we challenged our athletes to:
Be the ultimate teammate
Show great sportsmanship
Maintain a positive attitude & body language
Lead with respect and compassion
Walk in humility through both victory and defeat

Thanks to the generosity of Chick-fil-A and Chicken Express, every participant enjoyed a meal, received a free BeLikeCJ shirt, and experienced a day filled with encouragement and purpose.

At BeLikeCJ Foundation, we believe championships come and go, but character lasts forever. The greatest legacy an athlete can leave isn’t found on a scoreboard—it’s found in how they treat others.
