Ribbon cutting day at JA BizTown! ✂️🎉

We celebrated the grand opening of the new Old National Bank storefront, with 19 Old National Bank volunteers leading students through the BizTown simulation and joining Glencliff Elementary's student "mayor for the day" to cut the ribbon.

Welcome to BizTown! The storefronts in BizTown were opened for business this morning as we welcomed students and volunteers from Christiana Elementary School.

Students stepped into roles as mayor, insurance agent, property manager, DJ, nutritionist and more – running their own simulated economy for the day and getting a hands-on look at how businesses, banking, and budgeting actually work. It's learning by doing, not just listening.

Thank you to the volunteers who gave their morning to make this happen, and to Christiana Elementary for bringing their students to experience it. This is what confident, capable, and connected looks like in action.
