We had the incredible opportunity to help an incoming college student move into Belmont University | Nashville, TN 🎵 —and it wasn’t just any student. It was Madisyn! 💙🐻

We first met Madisyn through our partnership with Johnson Learning Center , an alternative school here in Nashville. Too often, when young people enter alternative schools, statistics try to predict how their stories will end.

But through our “Just Us” Mentoring Program, we remind our teens that they are not a bunch of numbers that tell statistics—they are a collection of words that tell stories. And they get to keep writing their story.

Madisyn’s story is one of resilience, perseverance, determination, and faith. We’ve had the privilege of watching her continue to push forward, overcome obstacles, and refuse to allow circumstances to define her future.

And now, the next chapter begins at Belmont University!

We are incredibly proud of this Bruin and honored to be a small part of her journey. Madisyn, keep writing your story. This is only the beginning! 🎓❤️💙

Our Power Youth showcase was amazing! ☀️

This summer’s theme was “Stand Out.” We challenged our students not to blend in with the crowd, but to embrace who they were created to be, lead with character, use their unique gifts, and have the courage to make a positive difference in their schools, families, and communities. Standing out isn’t about seeking attention—it’s about living with purpose, integrity, and confidence.

In partnership with MAC POWER Youth our students brought that theme to life through leadership, innovation, and creativity. They wrote and recorded an original song, produced a music video, created choreography, and developed a powerful short film that reflects their voices, experiences, and vision for the future.

We couldn’t be more proud of these young leaders for stepping outside their comfort zones, working together, and creating something meaningful that will inspire others.

A huge thank you to MAC and POWER Youth for believing in our youth and making this incredible summer possible.
