Early hunger signs: Look for cues like rooting, lip smacking, sucking motions, or bringing hands to their mouth—these are signs your baby may be ready to eat.

Fullness cues: Babies show when they’ve had enough by turning away, slowing down, relaxing their hands, or appearing content.

Did you know "rooting " is an automatic, involuntary instinct in newborns? When their cheek or the corner of their mouth is touched or stroked, they will instinctively turn their head toward the touch, open their mouth, and make searching movements to find a breast or bottle to feed.

Did you know tummy time helps babies develop strong neck, shoulder, and arm muscles while preventing flat spots on the head?

Start small and make it fun: Begin with just a few minutes at a time, several times a day. Place a toy, mirror, or your face in front of your baby to encourage them to lift their head and engage their muscles.
