Our registered nurses make home visits to provide healthcare assessments, education, & parenting support to prevent infant mortality & child abuse/neglect.

We serve Tennessee families in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties.

May is both National Preeclampsia Awareness Month and Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month.

Did you know that TN is currently ranked the worst state in the nation for maternal deaths? With every home visit, our nurses strive to improve maternal health in our state. From education about preeclampsia to checking blood pressures to performing mental health screenings, our nurses meet each mother where she is and walk with her on her own unique motherhood journey. To each of our NFN moms, we are honored to be a part of your story. 🤍

We are honored to be the recipients of a Helper Grant this year! Last week, the Nashville Predators Foundation distributed its largest donation to date, totaling more than $855,000! We are proud to be one of the 199 Middle Tennessee nonprofits that received a grant for projects and programs benefiting youth and their families. Thank you for supporting our work with babies and their families in Middle TN!

Night for Newborns 2026 was a success thanks to this community!

To those of you who participated in the auction, made a donation, or attended the event, thank you for being a part of this special evening honoring 25 years of helping babies and families thrive in Middle Tennessee.

Together, we raised almost $140,000 to support NFN families!
