Unfortunately, Going Places email was hacked 😞

Please don't open the email that has the subject line "CSRI: Funding Available"- that was not from us.

I'm so sorry if you received that email. I have changed my passwords hopefully you won't get anything else. All of our emails will always be bike related!

It takes an incredible community of generous supporters to make the magic of a Bike Reveal possible, and we are thrilled to share that Going Places will be surprising nearly 1,000 children across three Title I elementary schools with brand-new bikes this December! 🚲💚

First up, we are excited to announce Brent Heist as the Title Sponsor of our Chicora Elementary School Bike Reveal! 🎉

Thanks to their generosity and commitment to giving back, we are one step closer to bringing an unforgettable day of joy, excitement, and smiles to children who deserve it most!

Thank you, Heist Law Firm, for investing in local children, believing in our mission, and helping us create memories that will last long after Reveal Day! 💚🚲

What an incredible morning at The Citadel! 🚲❤️

Going Places was honored to be part of The Citadel’s Leadership Day, where 20 sophomore cadets volunteered their morning to build bikes and spread joy!

Katie had the opportunity to speak with the cadets and alumni about the mission and impact of Going Places before leading a fun, hands-on team-building bike build! The cadets also created heartfelt cards for the kids who will receive the bikes!

These cadets were enthusiastic, kind, and eager to make a difference from start to finish! The best part? Every single one of them wanted to come back and volunteer at our BIG bike build on December 8th! ❤️

Sometimes it’s the “ums” and “uhs” that say the most.

Getting a bike may seem simple, but for a kid, it can mean freedom, confidence, fun, and a memory they’ll hold onto for a long time.

These are the moments that remind us why we do this.

We’re incredibly grateful for 2026 partner, MassMutual South Carolina, and the support they continue to give Going Places. From building bikes to helping create moments of joy for local kids, their team has played a meaningful role in making this work possible.

Thank you for continuing to show up for our community.

Heath from McFadden Pest Control Inc shares what he’s looking forward to most about this year’s bike reveal.

We’re grateful for partners who show up for our mission and help make moments like these possible for local kids.
