The 2026 FIFA World Cup has started, and we're pretty sure a few future stars are right here in Charleston County. ⚽

We are proud to help make extracurricular programs more accessible for every CCSD student, because we know that great things happen when kids have opportunities to explore their passions beyond the classroom.

And a special congrats to the Wando High School Women's Soccer Team for winning the State Championship this year! 🥳

For many CCSD students, school is more than a place to learn— it’s also where they receive reliable, nourishing meals each day. Access to those healthy meals remains essential all summer long.

Through CCSD’s Seamless Summer Feeding Program, free breakfast and lunch are available for any child or teen 18 and under at sites across Charleston County.

Last summer alone, the program provided more than 184,000 meals, helping ensure students stayed nourished, supported, and ready to thrive all summer long.

No registration. No eligibility requirements. Just free meals for kids and teens who need them.

Summer break is an exciting time, but we know this can also be a challenging season for families to find reliable, educational childcare.

Expanded Learning Kaleidoscope Summer Camps are one of the ways CCSD makes sure that academic supportdoesn't disappear when the school year ends. Running June 8 through July 24, these camps give Charleston County kids a place to keep learning, growing, and thriving all summer long. ☀️

Spots are limited, so visit the link below to learn more and register today!

Why an independent foundation?

As an independent 501(c)(3), the CCSD Education Foundation can expand partnerships, engage community support, and access philanthropic funding that helps bring innovative ideas and meaningful resources to life for students and schools across Charleston County.

While operating independently, we remain deeply connected to the district, united by a shared commitment to strengthen public education, invest in student success, and support the communities our schools serve.
