It’s more than the symptoms people can’t see. It’s the missed meals, difficult days, canceled plans, uncertainty, and the constant effort it can take to manage life with a condition that others may not understand.

This month, we’ve raised awareness, amplified patient voices, and reminded our community that what you can’t see can still have a profound impact.

The 2026 Virtual Digestive Health Wellness & Walk is a week-long annual charitable event to raise money to support gastrointestinal illness research. The annual event has so far raised $230,000 to support GI illness research and we plan for the 6th year to be our best so far!

The 2026 event will be August 22, 2025 – August 29, 2025. Event registration is NOW OPEN.

The event will provide goals that can be achieved by people of varying abilities as activities will focus strongly on wellness, self-care, and traditional and non-traditional fitness activities.
