Today, the India Association of Greater Charleston (IAGC) was honored to be part of incredible Namaste Charleston team.

Our BoT Chair, Dr. Shahid Husain, and President, Mr. Gaurav Kaushal, proudly attended this inspiring event, which reflects the true spirit of community, compassion, and giving.

We sincerely appreciate and applaud the Namaste Charleston team for their outstanding efforts toward advancing educational opportunities. This year, their remarkable initiative has empowered students and schools across multiple counties by donating 75 laptops opening doors to learning, growth, and future success.

Heartfelt congratulations to the entire Namaste Charleston team for this impactful initiative. We also extend our best wishes to all the students may this support become a stepping stone in your journey toward a bright and successful future.

A few more colorful glimpses from our Festival of Colors celebration!

✨ A day filled with colors, laughter, and smiling faces! ✨

This Saturday, we celebrated our most-awaited event - Festival of Colors 2026.
Despite a windy start to the day, our spirits were unstoppable—and as our guests began arriving, the celebration truly came to life!

A huge shoutout to our amazing registration team - Roopam, Rajat, Ankush, Rakesh, Vikram, and Vijay for ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in experience for everyone. Our decor team - Prikesh, Aaron and Kyle went above and beyond, even braving the wind to set up a beautiful selfie point that became a crowd favorite! 📸

The day was made even more special with a delicious, elaborate spread of food, lovingly prepared by our volunteers,

It was efficiently packed and distributed by Rajitha, Heema, Anjali, Monika, Lavya, Gunjan, Nikita, Manvi, Mannat, Jiya and Haripriya. Guests enjoyed a relaxed picnic lunch while kids ran around, played cricket, and everyone caught up with old friends and made new ones. 🏏🍱

And then came the highlight—colors in the air and beats in our hearts! 🥁
As colors were distributed, the celebration reached new heights with an electrifying live dhol performance by Sandeep Singh, getting everyone on their feet. The energy continued with DJ Karthik spinning lively desi beats that kept the dance floor buzzing! 💃🎶

From laughter and dancing to full hearts and happy bellies, it was truly a day to remember. ❤️

We’re deeply grateful to the IAGC team especially President Gaurav Kaushal, all our dedicated volunteers, and of course, every single one of you who came out to celebrate and make this community event so special.
