The Morris Plains PBA extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and former colleagues of retired Morristown Police Lieutenant Matthew Rawding.

Matt was not only a respected member of the law enforcement community, but also a Morris Plains resident and the uncle of our own Ptl. Noah Rawding.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Noah, the entire Rawding family, and our brothers and sisters at the Morristown Bureau of Police during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Lt. Rawding. 🖤💙

The Morris Plains PBA is asking our community to join us in supporting one of our own, Ptl. Noah Rawding, and his family during a difficult time.

Noah’s uncle, Matt Rawding, is a retired lieutenant with the Morristown Police Department and a Morris Plains resident who is currently awaiting a heart transplant.

A GoFundMe has been created to help Matt and his family with the expenses associated with his medical care. Any donation, share, or words of support are greatly appreciated.

Please keep Matt and the Rawding family in your thoughts as he continues to fight for his health.

Morris Plains PBA Local 254 would like to show our support for Detective Murarik of the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.

Detective Murarik recently shared his battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and has launched a fundraiser to support ALS research in the hopes of helping find a cure for this devastating disease.

Throughout his career, Detective Murarik has dedicated his life to serving others. Even in the face of this diagnosis, he continues to think of others by raising funds to advance ALS research and support the search for better treatments and ultimately a cure.

We ask our community, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers to stand with one of our own by sharing his fundraiser and, if able, making a donation to this important cause.

Together, we can help make a difference in the fight against ALS
