Rose House creates forever homes that make dreams come true for those with special needs. In 1999, Mark and Pearl Kramer founded Rose House for their daughter Abby, and over the next two+ decades it has grown to become a premier residential provider of six programs throughout Morris County. Opening our first group home in November of 2003, we offer an extensive range of recreational choices for ou

r residents, employees, and other adults with special needs throughout Morris County. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, surrounding townships, and capital funding, today we have six residential programs and eight independent living apartments where our residents thrive, living their best lives.

Lisa and Rocky, the Hanover Community Residence dog, 🐶 would like to end your weekend with a smile! 🙂 Did you know that Pet Appreciation Week runs from June 7 to June 13? Created by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) in 1981, this observance focuses on recognizing the bond we share with our pets and highlighting the importance of responsible pet care.

🎉 Congratulations to Lisa and Stephen from our Hanover Community Residence! Not only did Lisa receive a pin award to celebrate her 25 years of employment from Hanover Township, they were both inducted into the Morris County Aktion Club as new officers: Stephen as the president and Lisa as president-elect!

The Morris County Aktion Club is an active community service and leadership organization for adults with disabilities, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. It provides members with opportunities to volunteer, build social skills, and engage in meaningful projects like food drives and local town events. More info: www.aktionclub.org

What an incredible day at our Hanover Community Residence in Cedar Knolls! 💚

Thanks to generous volunteers from Conner Strong & Buckelew and our partners at Jersey Cares, our gardens got a beautiful refresh, and every door got a fresh coat of paint!

This kind of care and dedication makes a real difference for our residents with special needs. Thank you for rolling up your sleeves and showing up for our community.

🍅🌼 Rose House will welcome Jersey Cares to volunteer at our Hanover Community Residence tomorrow! Billy took a minute to pose with Steve Henley, our maintenance coordinator, who worked hard to rebuild the garden beds for the 15 volunteers expected. They will plant flowers and vegetables for our residents to enjoy, plus they'll paint the doors inside the apartment complex!

🍀 Big news and bigger gratitude! Rose House is thrilled to announce a $1,500 donation from the incredible The Irish American Association of North West Jersey (IAANWJ), raised at the 2026 Morris County St. Patrick's Day Parade! Year after year, this organization shows up for our residents with special needs, and we are truly blown away by their generosity. A huge thank you to IAANWJ President Keith Wood (pictured center) for presenting this gift to our team. 💚
