Gift of Life NJ

Gift of Life NJ Gift of Life of New Jersey, Inc. is a project of the Rotary Clubs in District 7475. We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Bringing Children to the United States

Rotarians and Gift of Life Committee members arrange for children with congenital heart defects from countries where specialized surgery is not available, to be treated in a hospital in the United States, usually in the greater New York City area. Here we provide hands-on care for both patient and parent, which includes hosting them in our homes. Sponsoring

Overseas Missions

We fund teams of volunteer medical personnel who travel to underdeveloped countries. There they typically spend two weeks operating on children and providing training for local medical professionals. Training Foreign Surgeons

Over the years we have provided funding to train several foreign pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons to help them advance their skills and provide pediatric cardiac programs. Providing Needed Equipment

Over those same years we have provided medical supplies and specialized equipment to many hospitals in developing countries to help them successfully treat their young patients.

It's that time again! Our biggest fundraiser of the year is underway. Please consider buying some Super Bowl raffle tickets. The proceeds of this fundraiser will help us save the lives of children with congenital heart disease wherever our help is needed.
