We are a national education center that serves the greater community of Nordic Americans and all those who value a relationship with Norway. We work with partners, to provide events, programming, and communication efforts that focus on the business and cultural issues of today and the future.

Well, you guys… I did it. 😂

For the first time ever, I stepped out of my little office, away from the camera and teleprompter, and told these stories LIVE at Norway House.

And yes, I was nervous. My hands were literally shaking when we started.

But once we got into the stories, it felt like sitting around with a room full of fellow InBetweeners talking about all the strange things that keep us up at night.

Bigfoot. Dogman. Missing people. Strange encounters. And quite a few stories from right here in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made my first live event such a special night. ❤️

The Holiday Market coincides with Norway House’s Gingerbread Wonderland, an event that brings 12,000 visitors annually. Vendors of Nordic handcrafts and foods will enrich this event and in turn, have wide exposure to customers who appreciate the quality of their goods.

It is with a heavy heart that we at Norway House join the people of Norway and those all over the world in mourning the passing of our Royal Patron, His Majesty King Harald V. His Majesty was a deeply cherished symbol of the enduring bond between Norway and the United States, and his lifelong dedication to inclusion and service will forever inspire us. Our thoughts and deepest prayers are with the Royal Family and all who feel this profound loss.

Please join us in ways to gather and remember, together:
• Flowers can be placed in front of "Seeds"—our sister-city pinecone sculpture with Sotra, Norway, and a symbol of connection and immigration—on the plaza at Norway House. Condolences can be shared in a guest book inside Norway House.

• A special church service will be held at Mindekirken, our neighbor, at 10:00 am on Sunday, followed by a community gathering to sing the Norwegian national anthem on the plaza at 11:00 am. Overflow seating will be available at Norway House following the service.

His Majesty King Harald V of Norway remains hospitalized as he battles a serious health challenge. Our thoughts are with His Majesty and the entire Royal Family during this difficult time.

As our organization's Royal Patron, King Harald has long been a source of pride and connection for our community. We are holding him close in our hearts and sending strength, comfort, and support to him and his loved ones.
