LISTEN CLOSELY, MORTALS… THE SPIRITS HAVE A FEW COMMANDMENTS!
We love our spectators, and nothing is more important than keeping our little monsters, grown-up ghouls, and parade participants SAFE!
ALL ROADS ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE WILL CLOSE AT 5:00 PM SHARP!
HANCOCK STREET AND SOUTH TOULME STREET ARE STRICTLY OFF-LIMITS TO SPECTATORS!
These areas must remain clear for the safety of our parade participants and spectators. Please do not attempt to watch the parade from these streets.
NO THROWS UNTIL UNION STREET!
Our parade units will NOT begin throwing candy, beads, or Halloween treasures until they reach Union Street. Please respect this rule and allow our participants to travel safely through the restricted areas.
LITTLE MONSTERS BELONG ON THE SIDELINES… NOT IN THE STREETS!
We know the excitement of catching those fangtastic throws can make even the calmest goblin go a little wild, but PLEASE do not allow children or adults to run toward moving parade vehicles.
Many of our units have elaborate decorations, oversized tires, and limited visibility. What may look like a harmless dash for a treat can quickly become a dangerous situation.
Parents and guardians, please keep your little ghosts and goblins close and safely behind the parade boundaries.
NO CANDY, BEAD, OR TRINKET IS WORTH RISKING SOMEONE’S SAFETY!
We want the only screams heard along our parade route to be screams of EXCITEMENT!
For seven years, BOO in the Bay has brought thousands of families together for an evening of laughter, memories, music, and Halloween magic. With your cooperation, we can continue this hauntingly wonderful tradition for many more years to come!
