{Fall 2025, part 13} Hank served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He has a huge heart for service members and believes it is important to honor those who came both before and after him. And, his wife couldn’t be more proud!

It is with heavy hearts that we add another dear friend onto our Wall of Honor. Earl Kilpatrick was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran that served in the the United State Air Force. In 2023 he was able to go with Honor Flight of Oregon to Washington DC for his well overdue welcome home. His daughter, Cindy, shared that
Earl passed away March 20th from a spinal cord injury at the young age of 95. Thank you for your service, Earl!

Sometimes we have Veterans that are very quiet and we aren’t quite sure how they felt about Honor Flight. Diesel, a US Army, Vietnam Veteran, was one of those for us. After the trip we learned about the profoundly positive impact it made on him! Welcome home, Diesel!

Clay Shooting competition on May 16th from 9am - 1pm in Merlin, Oregon. This will be held at the Josephine County Sportsmen Association Gun Range. All proceeds will go to support local Veterans groups that address mental health and su***de.

The Sporting Clay Championship is in support of our NCOA effort to help Operation Rambo that provides service dogs to disabled veterans, Mighty Oaks Foundation that addresses veteran su***de and Veterans Back 40 Adventures that addresses veterans with PTSD.

The event is May 16th and we need sponsors as well as shooters. If interested, information is available on the event page at https://ncoarogue.org.
