🌟 Volunteer Appreciation Month Spotlight 🌟

Some of the most meaningful work happens behind the scenes, and today we’re celebrating two incredible women who make it happen every week. 💛

✨ Meet Eileen & Dotty ✨

Week after week, they spend hours sorting, cleaning, and organizing clothing donations so our community has access to essentials with dignity.

Every Thursday at outreach in Grants Pass, they’re there with more than just clothes. They bring conversation, kindness, inclusion, and advocacy. They help people feel seen, supported, and cared for.

Their impact is quiet, but it is powerful.

💛 Eileen & Dotty, thank you for everything you do for MINT and our community.

🌟 Volunteer Appreciation Month Spotlight 🌟

Today we’re recognizing three incredible providers who help make compassionate, accessible healthcare possible at MINT. 💛

✨ Dr. Brown, Dr. Mechling, and Dr. Roberts ✨

Dr. Brown keeps our medical outreach running, driving the van each week, organizing supplies, and stepping in throughout the week whenever someone walks into the Navigation Center with a medical need.

Dr. Mechling is a steady presence at our Cave Junction outreach and pops into Grants Pass from time to time. She always showing up to provide care and support, and always available when our nurses need guidance.

Dr. Roberts, our Medical Director, gives his time on top of a full-time job, helping grow our medical services and showing up every Thursday to care for our unhoused neighbors.

Together, they do more than provide care, they build trust, break down barriers, and quite literally save lives.

💛 We are so grateful for each of you and the heart you bring to this work.

🌟 Volunteer Appreciation Month Spotlight 🌟

We truly couldn’t do this work without our volunteers, and today we’re celebrating someone who does it all. 💛

✨ Meet Connie, RN extraordinaire ✨

Connie brings heart, skill, and unstoppable energy to MINT. From cooking and coordinating meals at the Navigation Center, to providing hands-on nursing support, she shows up wherever she’s needed.

She has a special gift for working with our elderly and disabled clients, helping them not only get housed but stay housed with ongoing care, support, and advocacy.

If you’ve been to our Cave Junction outreach, you’ve likely seen Connie in action, leading with compassion and helping run a weekly pop-up pantry that serves hundreds.

Honestly, she has more energy than an entire football team—and we are beyond grateful for her.

💛 Connie, thank you for everything you do for MINT and our community.

🌟 Volunteer Appreciation Month Spotlight 🌟

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we truly couldn’t do this work without our incredible volunteers, it takes a community. We will be highlighting volunteers throughout the month💛

✨ Meet Penny Horning✨

Our Tuesday “egg casserole lady” 🥚but to our clients, she’s so much more. Penny brings warmth, encouragement, and connection every single week. Her breakfasts are loved, but it’s her heart that makes Tuesdays special.

She helps create a space of safety, community, and hope and we are so grateful to have her as part of the MINT family.

💛 Thank you, Penny, for everything you bring.
