We invite you to get curious on how you can support our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community members. Check in on your neighbors, share a meal, start a conversation within your social or faith group. Community plays an important role in supporting mental health.

If you are seeking group support, NAMI of Southern Oregon offers both Peer Support for adults living with mental health conditions, and Family Support Groups for adult family members, caregivers, friends, and loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions.

Group participants learn from one another's experiences, share coping strategies, and offer mutual encouragement. Gatherings are offered in-person as well as online.

NAMI support groups follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to be helped. Space is made for

Just a coffee break (with a rainbow!) to invite you to consider the challenges that your neighbor faces. Day in and day out. Quietly. Or loudly. With grace. Or without. Alone. Or surrounded. But challenged.

Maybe you understand? Or maybe it seems ridiculous to you? Maybe the solution seems so simple... "If they just XYZ...."

What if we paused without fixing? Without judgement? What if, instead, we send compassion? Quietly. Or with a glance. Or maybe a few kind words. Without being earned. No strings attached. Just a love-offering for a better day. A more gentle world. A place where we are not alone in our suffering.

Compassion is free.

Join RHC members in two opportunities to promote peace in our communities:

March 1st we will join the local Rotary in a simple declaration for peace, in our own being, our community, our state, our nation and our world.

Join a live, global meditation for peace, being held in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, Feb. 11th. by a small group of monks who are currently walking from Texas to D.C., to promote peace. Walk for Peace What started as a handful of people, has turned into a global movement. It's inspiring to watch their journey!

RHC will be donating to the Josephine County Food Bank this Christmas and we invite you to join us! Together, our collective donation will help support our neighbors in need.

In Josephine County, around 14,600 (16.7%) people are living in poverty. A non-perishable food item or a few dollars does make a difference! Especially when coupled with donations from others.

Stop in to RHC's office Tuesday - Friday at 303 NW E Street to drop off your donation or use the after-hours mail drop by the front door. Make checks payable to JoCo Food Bank.
