According to the official Oregon Secretary of State logs, proponents of IP28 have now met their minimum signature threshold with more than a month to gather more. We cannot—and will not—let them succeed. We are launching a massive campaign counter-offensive built to drive IP 28 NO votes through the roof — and ultimately defeat this measure at the ballot box. If you have friends, family, or hunting buddies who have been sitting on the fence, tell them the threat is immediately outside the door. Now is the time for them to join. If you are in a position to upgrade your membership or make a donation, we need that fuel now more than ever. Thank you for your unwavering trust, your passion, and for standing firm with OHA. We owe it to our kids and grandkids to win this fight, and looking at the grit and determination of our members, we have what it takes. Visit https://oregonhunters.org

What an incredible night at the Oregon Hunters Association fundraising banquet!

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our donors, volunteers, and attendees who showed up and made this event such a success. The energy in the room, the generosity, and the shared passion for protecting our hunting heritage was truly something special. Because of you, we are able to continue fighting for our rights, preserving wildlife habitat, and ensuring future generations can experience the same traditions we value today.

Events like this don’t happen without a strong community behind them, and last night proved just how strong ours is.

If you were there, you already know how important this mission is. If you weren’t, now is the time to get involved.

👉 Becoming a member is one of the most powerful ways you can make a difference.
Your membership directly supports conservation efforts, protects hunting rights here in Oregon, and gives us a stronger voice when it matters most. The more members we have, the harder it is for those who oppose us to be heard over us.

If you believe in hunting, conservation, and protecting our way of life, don’t sit on the sidelines. Join us. Bring a friend. Get your family involved.

Together, we are stronger. And together, we will continue to defend what matters most.

Thank you all again for an unforgettable evening we couldn’t do it without you.

🎉 We are just TWO days away from our 2026 Josephine County OHA Banquet!
We have an exciting new change this year…we are transitioning towards a cashless event, so any transactions for games and raffles can be done by using your bidder number! Cash will also be accepted, but using your bidder number eliminates the use of physical cash and allows you the opportunity to get a complete itemized receipt at the end of the evening! Spread the word!

We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Poaching Investigation Leads to Major Seizure

Responding to a report from ODOT, a Fish & Wildlife sergeant recently investigated a dump site where parts of two deer were discovered. Evidence left at the scene linked the case to a suspect, prompting the East Valley Fish and Wildlife Team to execute a search warrant at the suspect’s residence. They were assisted by additional troopers, detectives, and SWAT.

The suspect, a convicted felon, was found with multiple deer heads, meat from deer, elk, bear, and ducks, all without proper documentation. The suspect admitted to illegally killing deer at the Sandy River Delta in 2025 and knowingly disregarding hunting regulations.

Additional items seized included a stolen Mount Hood National Forest sign, a scoped rifle, a stolen 9mm handgun, spotlights, ammunition, compound bows, crossbows, and more than 70 grams of methamphetamine.

More meat and another deer head were recovered from another suspect’s residence. The case remains under investigation.
