Soup For The Soul Soup for the Soul started as an idea when Alex Apland was just 19 years old and wanted to creatively raise money for those in need.

SFTS now benefits the R.O.C Food Pantry here in Grants Pass, Oregon. SFTS is a fundraising benefit for the ROC Food Pantry here in Grants Pass, whom lovingly, graciously, and diligently serve those in need. For $15 you will be admitted to the event, receive a handmade ceramic bowl, endless soup buffet provided by local restaurants, and live music entertainment. The Event is truly so much fun. Last

year we had approx 500 people come through and raised slightly under 6,000 dollars. This year I have a goal of 10,000 dollars. What is one simple thing you can do to help our community? Come to this even, eat some soup and have fun! I am convinced that if you spent a day volunteering at the ROC food pantry you would find that it is NOT just homeless people receiving aide...Sadly It's people just like you and I, often people with jobs and children...people who are just struggling to make ends meet.
