Founded in 1979, The Hiawatha Music Co-op is the home of the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival, the largest event of its kind in the U.P., held in each year in July.

We're excited to announce our 2026 Hiawatha Music Co-Op Limited-Edition Merchandise drop! 📣

In collaboration with Icarus FC, we have created two limited-edition jerseys featuring original 1981 artwork from Hiawatha's 3rd Annual Music Festival as the crest, and the iconic Hiawatha tree from our classic logo within the jersey design.

In addition, we have long-sleeve tee, crewneck sweatshirt with front pocket, and two short-sleeve tee selections featuring the same 1981 artwork!

If you've been thinking, "Maybe I should apply!" This is your sign, and we're giving you one more week to throw your hat in the ring!

The deadline for the Hiawatha Board of Directors applications has been extended and are now due this Friday, October 9th.

Beginning in 2027, we will have a maximum of 5 seats available on the Hiawatha Board of Directors. By bringing your skills, ideas, and energy to our team, you'll be helping us to shape the future of the Festival, year-round programming, and strengthen our co-op.

Mark your calendars later this month for the Master Artist Series with Frank Youngman and Seth Bernard. They will be playing a Live at the Fold Concert as well as two workshops on the 24th!
